Sometimes you need to stop Afterplay from loading your save state automatically, either because you're encountering an issue, you're uploading an SRAM, or simply because you'd prefer to manually load your save states.

From the library page, press the button represented by 3 dots in the upper right of the game card.

Click "Edit" in the menu. This will bring up the Game Details panel.

At the bottom of the Game Details panel, there will be a button to enable/disable the "autoload state" feature. After adjusting this setting, you can close the Game Details panel.

You can also access this button to toggle the feature from within the game menu, under the "Game" tab.
