Setting up RetroAchievements

Make sure you have an active account on RetroAchievements.
From the library screen, click/tap your username, and enter the Settings menu.
Click/tap on Achievements. On mobile you will find this in the hamburger (≡) button at the top next to the back button.
Enter your username and password in the appropriate text entry fields.
Note that while we save your username on the server, we do not store your password. This is for your safety. Your password will need to be entered separately on each of your devices, and we will never know what your password is.
Make sure Achievements are turned on by using the button at the top of the page.
Be warned that while Hardcore Mode will double your earned achievement points on RetroAchievements, it will also drastically affect other Afterplay features. Save states, cheats, rewind, pause, and slow-motion will be unavailable for all games while this feature is enabled.
This will allow achievement notifications to show up even if they are for an achievement you have already unlocked, for example if you are replaying a game.
